Journey to exotic India and the land of the Lotus Blossom in this mobile-friendly online slots game from Konami gaming. Get ready to enjoy lovely graphics and exciting bonus rounds, perfect for beginners.

Features of Lotus Land’s Base Game

A backdrop of golden buildings and delicate lavender lotus flowers surrounds the three-row, five-reel online video slots. This game has 30 paylines, all of which are in play with each spin. The game is one of the newer slots from Konami, although personally, I found the slots in the base game to be a little tight. Lotus Land slot is listed as having a 95% return-to-player, which is about average for most Konami slots.

The symbols embrace Indian culture, from delicate silk parasols to elephants, cobras, and a lovely Indian lady.

The highest value is the white tiger, a symbol of power and strength in many oriental cultures, but especially India. Five of the tiger will net 200 coins, then the belly dancer at 150, the elephant and cobra both at 100, and finally the green parasol at 80.

Lower value symbols are the standard 10-Ace of a Vegas deck.

I expected there to be exotic flute music or a sitar in the background of the Lotus Land slots machine, but as far as sound effects, it’s surprisingly quiet. You’ll get a tinkling sound when you win, though.

In Lotus Land, like many Konami games, it’s all about the bonus rounds if you want to win big.

Bonus Rounds in Lotus Land

Triggering the bonus rounds starts with three scatter symbols (pink lotus blossoms) dropping onto the reels, which gives you 8 free spins.

Your wager when the scatters drop locks into place at that point, however. I had one free spins round with a very conservative wager, but a second one where I’d maxed out my wager and that was worth it!

If you have more than three scatters, you’ll earn more free spins, with a max of 20. During the free spins rounds, two or more scatters will trigger extra spins, although again, you’ll never have more than 20 at once.

There’s also Wild symbols in Lotus Land, which replace every symbol except the scatters. These are glowing orbs – in the base game, they’re also present (although I didn’t have them drop often) but in a different color, blue.

When the glowing orbs drop in the bonus rounds or free spins, you’ll get a multiplier of the value of the symbol it replaces, up to five times the amount. So for example, if you landed the orb on the Tiger, you’d get up to 1,000 coins.

The scatters themselves also can have a large payout – if you get five, you’ll earn 600 coins and then enter your free spins rounds.

One aspect that I liked about the free Lotus Land slot machine is that the bonus features enhanced the regular slots payouts. Instead of turning into another type of game with complicated features.

Playing Lotus Land For Free Online

You don’t have to spend your hard-earned cash to enjoy Lotus Land (and you can play on the go with your tablet or phone, too).

Online casinos have Lotus Land and other slots available online to play for free – you’ll just need a valid email address to register.

For international players, your country’s regulations may vary, but you should be able to access online sites just like U.S. players.

Online Slots for U.S. Players

Each state has different regulations, although only Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania have online casinos available for real money. Otherwise, the rest of the country allows you to play for free, accumulating virtual winnings.

Sugar House Casino in Pennsylvania offers Konami games for players who wish to wager real money. There’s also Mohegan Sun Pocono, a brick-and-mortar casino in Pennsylvania that have several of the most popular Konami slots games on the gaming floor.

In New Jersey, the Betfair Casino and the Tropicana Online Casino in Atlantic City both offer Konami games online.

The online slot game Lotus Land is fun to play, and it’s one of the better games to try for free. The bonus features are straightforward and easy to understand, and the fixed paylines reduce the number of variables that come into play.

The graphics are well-created, although I would have liked Indian music in the background. The mobile optimization is a nice feature, too, and the larger graphics make it easy to see everything on a smaller screen, making it a great addition to mobile gambling apps.

Overall, great game!
